Mission & Vision

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the lives of city employees and their families by cultivating a workplace culture of wellness that decreases health care costs and increases employee recruitment, retention, and morale.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a culture and community that embraces and engages in well-being activities both at work and at home. We strive to provide a supportive, valued, and trusted resource for employees.

Through a collaborative effort with Anthem Blue Cross | Blue Shield, Solutions Employee Assistance Program, PMA Risk Control, City leadership, and other subject matter experts, we aim to engage and educate participants on all aspects of their health and wellness to support the diverse needs of our employee population.

Virtual Chair Yoga (20 minutes): A gentle, modified form of yoga that can be done right at your desk. Perfect for all abilities.
When: Mondays at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM (*Except 1/19 and 2/16)
Where: 11 AM Zoom link  |  4 PM Zoom link

Virtual Fitness (30 minutes): Sessions will focus on strength, cardio, and mobility. No equipment necessary, appropriate for all levels.
When: Tuesdays at 4:00 PM (*Except 2/10 and 3/3)

Virtual Stretch (10 minutes): Designed to enhance flexibility, improve posture, and reduce workday aches and pains.
When: Thursdays at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM (*Except 2/26)
