This is part-time (typically 12 – 15 hours but up to 19 hours per week) specialized responsible work involving the programming and teaching of ceramics for senior center participants. Work is performed at Senior Centers throughout New Haven, and serves a diverse population, including a substantial Spanish-speaking community.
Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in teaching classes in the specified area (Ceramics / Art). Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the firing of a kiln. High school graduate with advanced training in teaching and conducting classes in specified area. (Ceramics / Art).

SALARY: up to $20.00 per hour
