Chapel Street Two-Way Conversion between College Street and York Street

Project Goal: Conversion is part of the City of New Haven’s larger strategy to calm traffic, improve ease of getting around the city, expand accessibility and enhance safety for pedestrians and cyclists

Project Overview: Originally planned to occur on the morning of Wednesday, May 28,2025, the two-way conversion of Chapel Street between College Street and York Street is being postponed. A new date for the two-way conversion will be selected and announced soon.
