NEW HAVEN, CT – Mayor Justin Elicker sent the following message to New Haven residents via the New Haven Alerts emergency notification system and posted on social media platforms advising New Haven residents that the 9-1-1 emergency call line in New Haven is up and running again, and that residents should call or text 9-1-1 for life-threatening emergencies.

Hi, this is Mayor Justin Elicker with an important update for New Haven residents about the 9-1-1 emergency phone line.

The 9-1-1 emergency phone line is now up and running again in New Haven. All residents can once again call or text 9-1-1 for all life-threatening emergencies.  Again, for life-threatening emergencies, you can once again call or text 9-1-1.

Thank you to our first responders and state partners for their work to help resolve this statewide issue, and thank you to residents for your patience and cooperation. Stay safe and be well.

Hola, soy el alcalde Justin Elicker con una actualización importante para los residentes de New Haven sobre la línea telefónica de emergencia 9-1-1.

La línea telefónica de emergencia 9-1-1 ya está operativa nuevamente en New Haven. Todos los residentes pueden volver a llamar o enviar mensajes de texto al 9-1-1 para todas las emergencias que pongan en peligro sus vidas.  Nuevamente, para emergencias que pongan en peligro su vida, puede volver a llamar o enviar un mensaje de texto al 9-1-1.
