As the country celebrates 250 years of independence, the Yale Center for Civic Thought invites members of the greater New Haven community to join in a wide-ranging conversation about the history and future of democracy in America. Historians will set the stage for our conversation by sharing lessons from the founding of the country and from the important role that New Haven played in our history.
